🎈 Balloon Fest prep is officially underway! 🎈

I’m still working through these hot air balloon door hangers and tweaking the designs as I go. Making a few at a time has been the perfect way to experiment, figure out what I like best, and just have fun with the creative process.

They’re not finished yet, but I’m really excited about how they’re coming together so far. Looking forward to having these ready for the shop and upcoming vendor events as Centralia Balloon Fest gets closer!

I used an old quilt I purchased and drafted this toddler coat using an existing jacket as my guide. It’s still a work in progress, but seeing those quilt blocks become something wearable has been so much fun.

With Balloon Fest coming up in Centralia, I finally decided to make a hot air balloon door hanger prototype using vintage quilts.

She still needs a few tweaks, but I needed to see the vision come to life 😭✨

ISO: Vintage quilts, quilt tops, quilt blocks, or patchwork pieces! 🧵✨

My quilted door bows completely sold out at my last market, and I’m on the hunt for more quilts to give a second life to. I especially love vintage florals, feedsack prints, patchwork, and unique color combinations.

I’m happy to buy:
• Damaged/stained quilts
• Unfinished quilt tops
• Quilt blocks/scraps
• Well-loved vintage quilts that may not be usable as bedding anymore

Nothing has to be perfect — I actually prefer saving pieces that might otherwise sit in storage or get tossed. ❤️

“Ooo would you look at this” — because this sad gray ironing board got a cotton candy makeover just in time for market day 🍬✨

I didn’t have another table for my booth tomorrow, so I improvised and honestly… this ended up way cuter and way more on brand for my setup than an actual table would’ve been 😂

POV: I decided my market tent needed a little more personality… so I made a fabric banner out of random quilt scraps✨
