🏆 **15th Annual Queen Anne’s County Fair Co****le Tournament Recap** 🏆
What a tournament!
Yesterday I had the opportunity to run the 15th Annual Queen Anne’s County Fair Co****le Tournament, and this year's field brought together 34 teams, ranging from local and recreational throwers all the way up to some very accomplished players and ACL Pros.
There was no round robin and no easing into this one. We went straight into a **Bring Your Own Partner Double-Elimination Tournament**. Winner's bracket matches were “best 2-out-of-3”, but once you dropped into the loser's bracket, the safety net was gone. One game. Win and keep playing. Lose and your day was over.
And with 34 teams, there was a LONG road to the podium.
🥇 1ST PLACE — ROSEN AND SIS
**Smalls 🦾🤷♀️ (Mike Rosen) & Sissy Sewell**
These two flat-out owned the winner's bracket.
Rosen and Sis never dropped a match on their way to the King Seat, defeating Gage & Jmo's Stepdad's, Board Babes, Labrie & Kinnamon, AAR, and Best Friends along the way.
Even more impressive: across the entire tournament they went 11-1 in individual games.
Their only individual game loss of the entire day came against Labrie & Kinnamon — and they responded by winning the next two to take the match.
They then swept AAR 2-0 before meeting Best Friends in the King Seat match, where another 2-0 victory left Rosen and Sis as the tournament's only undefeated team.
That put them in a pretty comfortable — and well-earned — position for the championship.
🥈 2ND PLACE — “BEST FRIENDS 😝”
**Mr 🧼 Clean 🧽 Big🍊Juicy 🚐 Van (Van Browne) & Kegler's (Brian Knauer)**
Best Friends had a heck of a run of their own.
They worked through the winner's bracket with victories over Tyrob❤️fireball, 2 Stooges, Jennifer and Samantha's Favorites, Fuali, and Norm & Bob before finally running into Rosen and Sis in the King Seat match.
After dropping to the loser's bracket, there was no easy road back.
Waiting for them was AAR.
That elimination game turned into one of the closest and most important games of the tournament, with Best Friends escaping with a 21-19 victory to earn their shot at the championship.
The problem?
They now had to TRIPLE DIP an undefeated Rosen and Sis to take the title.
That's a tall order against anybody. Against a team that had lost just one individual game all day, it was going to take something special.
Rosen and Sis weren't having it.
They took the championship game, completing an undefeated **6-0 match record** and claiming the 2026 Queen Anne's County Fair championship.
🥉 3RD PLACE — AAR
**Wallie & 🔪NateDaRipper🔪**
AAR put together another outstanding run.
They stayed unbeaten through their first three winner's bracket matches before Rosen and Sis finally sent them to the elimination side.
From there, AAR knocked out Fuali and then ended one of the day's longest comeback runs by defeating Jennifer and Samantha's Favorites 21-3.
That set up their showdown with Best Friends for a spot in the championship. AAR battled them all the way to the end before falling 21-19, finishing an excellent tournament in 3rd place.
And I have to give some recognition to our 4th-place finishers, Jennifer and Samantha's Favorites — J-MO is washed & 😈Gage👿.
After losing to Best Friends in the winner's bracket, they went on a serious survival run through the loser's side. Remember — every one of those games was win-or-go-home.
They eliminated JKSM, Gage & Jmo's Stepdad's, Labrie & Kinnamon, TNT, and Norm & Bob — 5 consecutive elimination victories — before AAR finally ended their run.
That's battling your way back through a bracket.
🏆 **FINAL PODIUM**
🥇 Rosen and Sis — Smalls & Sissy Sewell
🥈 “Best Friends 😝” — Van Browne & Brian Knauer
🥉 AAR — Wallie & NateDaRipper
Congratulations to all three teams.
But beyond the podium, I want to thank every one of the 68 players who came out and competed. We had every skill level represented, and that's one of the things I enjoy most about events like this. You don't have to be an ACL Pro to step up to the boards, compete, meet some people, and have a good time.
A huge THANK YOU to the Queen Anne's County Fair and everyone involved behind the scenes for continuing to make this tournament part of the Fair year after year.
Fifteen years of co****le at the Queen Anne's County Fair is something worth celebrating.
Thank you to everyone who played, watched, supported the players, helped keep things moving, or just stopped by to see what all the bags flying through the air were about.
I appreciate the opportunity to run it again this year, and congratulations once again to Rosen and Sis — your 2026 Queen Anne's County Fair Co****le Tournament Champions! 🏆🌽🕳️
