Classic Homes, Timeless Details

10/12/2026

Our new Interior Design Studio is taking shape, and it’s exciting to see our vision becoming a reality.
We’re especially grateful to our general contractor and longtime friend, Raymond Miller of RC Miller Construction, pictured here alongside our Principal, Bill Childs. Their friendship goes back 35 years, making it especially meaningful to have Raymond guiding us through this exciting project. A special thank you as well to Mike Markovich of HFG Painters and our lead painter, Simeon Ruple (also pictured with Bill), for their craftsmanship and dedication.
It takes a talented team to bring a space like this to life, and we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of the process.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes progress as we get closer to opening our doors!

Isle of Skye | Lake Muskoka, Canada. Originally built in 1895 in the Victorian style, Isle of Skye is one of Lake Muskoka’s early summer residences, reflecting the character and architecture of the region’s formative cottage era. We are honored to be working on a new boathouse that respects the character, history, and timeless beauty of this remarkable property while creating something that will endure for generations to come. Pictured on the docks of Isle of Skye are our Principal, Bill Childs, and Landscape Architect Virginia Burt, collaborating on the design and vision for this special place. A wonderful example of how thoughtful architecture and landscape design can come together to preserve the spirit of a historic Muskoka property while creating a meaningful new chapter in its story.

We are excited to share construction progress on this WCA-designed postmodern home. Designed as a companion home to the Owner’s existing primary residence, the details pay homage to and reflect the postmodern primary.

In this WCA-designed addition, our interior design team thoughtfully curated a custom display for this striking statue in the vestibule of the private gym. Inside the gym, the Owner’s Michigan State pride is further celebrated with a custom wall design by the interior design team and matching green motorized drapes.
