I had been working on this original watercolor painting “Morning Has Broken” before my hip replacement. I can sit for short periods of time and was very anxious to complete this painting.
Last year I did a similar one that I sold, but had used for the cards I handed out last summer to all of my female customers from a speaking engagement I had done for our women’s ministry at our church. During my talk, I explained what we do here at Secret Garden.
This painting measures 14”x22”, which means you can purchase a pre-made 20”x28” frame and then purchase your own custom matting to fit the painting to fit the frame.

I don’t normally do oil paintings, but this one was one I created in the middle of a snowstorm. The sunset behind and the sheep grazing gives a totally peaceful feeling.

Psalm 19:1-6 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” The sun’s rising rhythm reminds us of God’s sovereignty over creation.
