Sometimes the overall color scheme for interior design begins with collected and beloved objects. Such as a curated rug, a beloved book cover, a special family antique or a favorite fabric. In this new project the home was filled with wonderful original artwork. Yet her color request came from her most favorite poster, framed and hung above the fireplace, right where Mrs. T can see it everyday. It’s surrounded with all the warm natural light streaming in just right. We worked with a strong persimmon red, a warm clay red, a rich coral, and such a pretty soft pink. And Mr T was all in too. We’re just about complete as we wait for two reupholstered foot stools. A E Monroe & Co Chestnut HIll Home Gregory Alonso Showroom kravet schumacher
