A little behind-the-scenes look at small business life! 📦🤎

You may wonder why our big freight deliveries come to our house instead of Willow & Birch. Since we don’t have a loading dock at the shop, getting a truck this size down Main Street and unloading full skids would be pretty difficult. Everything would have to be unloaded onto the sidewalk—and unloading skids like these is definitely not something I would ask the ladies at the shop to tackle!

So instead, the freight comes here. We unload it, unpack it, sort through everything, load it back up and then haul it all to the shop. And yes…it’s A LOT of work! 😂

It’s just one of those behind-the-scenes things we do as a small business that most people never get to see. But seeing all those new goodies make their way into Willow & Birch makes the work worth it. 🤎📦

River wants to see all his furry friends — the couch potatoes, bed stealers, treat-demanders, toy destroyers and professional snugglers. 😂
