🌸 Open Thursday & Friday, 7 AM–Noon! 🌸

These are a few flowers I cut last night, and I just thought they were SO pretty, bright, and cheery! 💕🌼

I would have taken pictures of the arrangements and bouquets for you this morning, but… it was still dark when I was setting everything up! 😂 It’s getting to be that time of year when the mornings are getting shorter.

So, stop on in and brighten your day with some fresh flowers! 💐

🌸 OPEN Thursday and Friday, 7 AM- Noon

A little peek at one of our busy garden visitors! 🐝🌼 Our pollinators have absolutely loved the garden this summer. We’re a certified Monarch Waystation, and the butterflies have been out in full force. The bees have been just as happy, buzzing from zinnia to zinnia.

I’ve even been stung several times by my little garden friends while harvesting! 😂🐝

With the heat, mornings are the perfect time to stop by. I’ll have fresh bouquets on the stand, but if you’d like a wrapped bouquet or special arrangement, just message me and I’ll have it ready for you. 💐

Come take home a little piece of the garden for Labor Day weekend. 🩷

🌸 Open Wednesday–Saturday, 7 AM until dark, weather permitting.

I was out picking flowers tonight, getting everything ready for the stand tomorrow morning, and I was trying to decide what color combination I wanted to focus on this week.

And then I thought… Dolly. 💗🧡

With the news of her passing today, it just felt right to fill the porch with a little Dolly sunshine. So this week, along with our usual cheery colors, we’ll be making pink & orange bouquets in her honor.

Pink for the sweetness, femininity and big heart she carried so beautifully. 🩷 Orange for the warmth, joy and sunshine she seemed to bring everywhere she went. 🧡 And together, they feel just a little bit like Dolly, bright, cheerful, colorful and impossible not to smile at.

Dolly once said, “The flowers start blooming and sunshine warms our days and our hearts.” 🌼☀️ That feels especially fitting tonight.

Thank you, Dolly, for making the world a brighter, kinder and much more colorful place. 🌼✨

🌿 A New Season at Greenvillage Gardens

I’ve been traveling in Greece and Turkey with my mom, daughter, sister, and niece. Coming home has reminded me just how much can change in a season.

While I was gone, my oldest son, 22, moved out as he begins grad school and prepares to get married this fall, and our youngest son (17) has headed back to Peru. So many wonderful things are happening, but even good changes can leave a mama’s heart a little tender. ❤️ It's been really quiet in the house.

Life changes. Children grow. Seasons come and go.

But one thing that hasn’t changed is the garden! 🌸 While I was away, my husband took care of everything, and it exploded into summer beauty as it's doing its thing.

🌿 Greenvillage Gardens will be open Friday at 7 a.m. and Saturday at 8. Closed at dark, weather permitting.

I was out in the garden cutting flowers, trying to beat the last bit of daylight, and God painted the sky more beautifully than any bouquet I could ever arrange.
