Job Summary:
As an Estimator (In-Home and In-Showroom Sales) you will be spending time with customers in their homes and at our showroom. You will be working with the customers to find their flooring needs, while maintaining a high level of service.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Present and sell floor covering products and services to new and existing customers (hardwood, engineered hardwood, luxurious vinyl planks, carpet, sand and refinish of hardwood floors)
- Prospect and contact potential customers and set up free in-home estimate appointments. Leads will be provided to you so you never have to cold-call nor door-to-door.
- Prepare flooring quotes by precisely measuring the project area(s), search for material price and availability
- Purchase orders for the project, set up installation dates, in a timely manner
- Negotiate prices of projects and contracts with clients
- Provide excellent service and flooring solutions to clients
- Serve walk-in customers
- Keep the showroom clean and presentable

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite (preferred)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain excellent customer service skills
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts (e.g. discounts, interest, commissions, volumes, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be authorized to work in the
United States
- Valid driver's license

Experience:
- Sales: 2 years in Flooring Sales or similar (preferred)
- Construction / Flooring: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year Customer Service experience (preferred)

Education:
- High school or equivalent (required)

License:
- Driver’s license (required)

Work Authorization:
- United Stated (required)

Work Location:

When we initially went to the showroom, we were greeted by Mr. So who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process of making our selections. After the in-home estimate, we decided to go with K&K Flooring instead of our general contractor because Mr. So was super responsive and a great resource for new homeowners like us--not to mention their price was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. We ended up getting brand new hardwood installed on 2 floors and new carpet in the basement. The installation was fast and the crew was just as friendly and helpful as Mr. So. When the job was complete, we were amazed at the attention to detail and how good everything looked. We honestly can't recommend K&K Flooring enough. New 5.0-star Review: "After having a relatively poor experience on a hardwood job before, I reached out to a couple of recommended companies. No one responded. I Googled and found K & K. They had excellent reviews. I emailed them and got a response early the next morning. John came out, gave me a quote, and even recommended me a less expensive option if I wanted it. It was my personal choice and he said to give it some thought. I chose my flooring and he gave me days and times to choose from. His team came today. They ripped up carpet and hardwood and replaced it with new hardwood. His team was polite, kind, and efficient. I was blown away when they called me downstairs. They had cleaned the new floors; arranged the furniture they had moved to look like a showroom; PUT PADS DOWN UNDER THE FURNITURE TO PROTECT THE WOOD; and gave me recommendations on how to care for it. They only left 30 minutes ago, and I can't imagine using a different company. If you haven't picked a company, I recommend going to their site and filling out an estimate request."
