When Heights Church acquired and renovated their new property, they partnered with INTEC Group to reimagine the space for both immediate needs and future growth. Just one year after completion, average Sunday attendance has grown from 1,600 to 2,400 people each week.
One key design move was the addition of a 40-foot-tall central lobby that turned circulation into congregation. Previously, attendees had to exit immediately after services due to limited space; but now, they enjoy a vibrant hub where people stay to connect and build community.
To support growing families, we also redesigned the Next Gen check-in experience, expanding from 2 to 5 stations. The updated layout helps create a more seamless, secure and welcoming experience for both new and returning families.
This project is a powerful example of how intentional design—both architectural and experiential—can expand ministry capacity, elevate user experience, and strengthen long-term community impact.
