Wednesday bake mornings 🤎

Fresh sourdough, cookies, and another round of local orders headed out the door today!

There’s something so satisfying about seeing everything go from dough and mixing bowls to all packaged up and ready for pickup

Wednesday = dough prep day around here 🤎

Weekly orders are officially underway! Between mixing, resting, stretch-and-folds, inclusions, a 10-hour bulk ferment, cookies, pre-shaping and final shaping… there’s a whole lot that happens before anything ever makes it into the oven

This week I’m also making one of my favorites, brown butter white chocolate strawberry cookies 😋

Dough prep is done…now onto bake day!

First trip to Sam’s Club = SUCCESS 🙌

I went in hoping to stock up on bakery ingredients and came out officially questioning why it took me this long to get a membership.

The real winner? My 10 lb bags of King Arthur bread flour are $8.38 at Sam’s vs. $11.98 at Walmart 🤯 That’s $3.60 saved PER BAG, and considering how much flour goes through this kitchen… that adds up FAST.

Add in cheaper butter, sugar, bulk ingredients, fewer crowds than Costco, a random robot cruising the aisles, and some toddler-approved Minions… I think Sam’s officially won me over 😂

Of course this grocery run somehow turned into a pantry reorganization, because everything needed a home. Then it was on to kitchen reset and inclusion prep for tomorrow’s dough day.

The bakery is STOCKED and ready for another week of baking!

Kicking off my Sunday Shares with a VERY good one 🤎🥐

We stumbled across Beloved’s Bread in Reno this morning and completely changed our breakfast plans on the spot… and I’m so glad we did.

From the avocado tartine and smoked salmon Benedict to the unreal breakfast potatoes and flaky pastries we brought home, everything was seriously delicious.

The peach croissant was the family favorite 🍑

I love getting to use this little corner of the internet to support other local businesses, and this one is absolutely worth a stop.

Safe to say I’ll be back… probably sooner than I should be 😂

Spent the day bouncing between the xTool and Glowforge, cutting vinyl, cleaning machines, making jigs, and knocking out a whole stack of new pieces for upcoming vendor events

I’m definitely getting into that fall/holiday prep mindset over here, and I’m loving seeing the inventory slowly start to build back up.

It felt so good to spend a few hours just being creative today before heading out to enjoy the Cantaloupe Festival with my family tonight🍈
