The bond between a mother and her children is hard to describe. Seeing my precious girl so happy filled my heart with an overwhelming sense of fulfillment, joy, and completeness. The emotion was so powerful that when I first saw this picture, I instantly began to weep. It reminded me of the feeling I experienced when my precious girl first entered the world—overcome with so much emotion that I wept uncontrollably while smiling. I have been praying for that beautiful smile captured in this picture for over 23 years! I never imagined that anyone could love my daughter more than I do. Jordan's love for Grace is not greater or lesser; it is simply a different kind of love, and I would dare say it is just as powerful as a mother's love. Congratulations, Grace and Jordan!

My last design project with Steel Roots Home Decor was my own home. I designed the pool and hardscape and enlisted a landscape designer to bring my softscape ideas to life. The kitchen remodel was rough. For nearly two years, I lived without countertops, and for six months, I lived without running water, a stove, or an oven. However, the result was worth it all! I thoroughly enjoyed designing each room. Saying goodbye will be tough!
