Got the color blocking / underpainting done and I FINALLY get to move on and start getting the shadows and highlights started!!

My new WIP: SciFi Horror Flatwoods Monster. Took days just to get the sketch part done because this is my first time working with a 2’x3’ canvas. Can’t wait to start adding paint!

I made this post on my personal page and I want to make it here also.

I’ve decided that I will not be participating in / vending at any events that use AI to make their promos especially those that claim to be “art” events. I know that my impact may be very little but I need to reflect my morals in the way I conduct my business. You are not artist friendly or environmentally friendly if you use AI.

I’ve spend the past month fabricating this mask out of cardboard, painters tape, jewelry wire, foam sheets, foam clay, paint, modpodge, and varnish. (Plus some hardware to attach straps). I really enjoyed learning to work with new materials and watching it come to life! Lmk if I should post the progress pictures of the stages it went through!

5x7” acrylic paint on canvas. I did this mini portraits for the Kanawha County Humane Association and they will be auctioned off at their event “Tuxes and Tails”.
These are dogs currently available for adoption! April is it bright colors, she’s a year old and the shelters’s longest resident. Sky is in the flower crown, she’s 9 years old and has been a shelter resident for almost a year.
