Our final auction is now live!

We've closed our brick-and-mortar store, resulting in three online auctions of our inventory. Auction #3 is now taking place at https://www.bauerauction.com/855-lot-online-only-moving-estate-auction-charleston-il/

The online auction is accepting bids now and will run through August 17th.

Our auction is being combined with another moving/estate auction, so there is a wide variety of items to check out. Out of more than 800 lots, our inventory can be found in lots #1-50 and 330-792. But of course, you're going to want to browse the entire selection. :)

Below are just a few photos of what you can expect to find...antiques, MCM, collectible pottery & glassware, quilts, vintage fabrics, hankies, aprons, books, ephemera, store displays, jewelry, antique vanity items, letterpress & trays, marquee letters, maps, furniture, art and much more. There is shipping available on most items. Larger items are available for pickup in Charleston, IL.

Let us know if you have any questions! We appreciate you checking out our sale...happy bidding!

All our best~

HEADS UP! 🙃

What if I told you we are prepping for one final auction?

Try as we might (and...oh friends...how hard we tried!) we couldn't liquidate our entire store's inventory in our recent two-part auction.

Todd and I have begun preparations for our final auction, which will take place at some point in June. (You'll be the first to know when the date is set.) We are combining our 4-500 lots with another seller to make one awesome auction!

As usual, our lots will contain something for everyone. Scanning the room, I see furniture, tons of art, letter signage, lots of letterpress trays, beautiful glassware, fabric lots, aprons and hankies, a potter's wheel, antique vanity items, jewelry...and much more.

Follow our page to get updates about our lot offerings and auction dates.

Here are some photos we took of our first few items to get us all started.

We'll get through this together, friends. 🤣
We appreciate you!

NEW TO BOOTH #76 THIS WEEK!

Hey, friends! Here a few photos of the items new to the Persimmon Lane booth at Glendy's Uptown Mall in Terre Haute this week.

Todd added his latest upcycled project...a red 1960s VW bug hood turned into a wall shelf/bar counter for your man cave, she shed or rec room! It features a lighted vintage license plate. The last one he made lasted 2 days before it was snatched up, so don't wait if you're interested. :)

A HUGE industrial wooden wheel form with old red paint rolled its way into our inventory. It is so cool.

A gorgeous early 1900's hall tree with brass umbrella/cane stand is now available. If I had a place for it, I would keep this one. And it's priced well under value!

We found another fun hall tree made by a couple who was downsizing and moving. It's a mirrored door with a gorgeous old table attached. There are remnants of a neat Asian motif on the top and oodles of layered chippy paint. 😍

All this and more available today at https://www.facebook.com/glendysuptownmall/ ! (Prices under photos in post.)

Like and follow our page for future finds. If our booth is updated, you will be, too.

Thank you, friends!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our customers and friends who have supported us at our primary location on the square in Charleston, Illinois. We enjoyed our 10 years serving all of you at our brick-and-mortar shop.

As most of you know, we have sold our building. However, we would love to introduce two ways you can continue to shop with us!

Todd and I have loved shopping at Glendy's Uptown Mall (formerly Nancy's) in Terre Haute, Indiana for years. It has been a fun "go-to" for us as we have scoured the Midwest to bring you fun vintage and antique offerings over the years. We now have a booth! Come check us out in Booth #76, and enjoy shopping dozens of other eclectic and creative vendors while you're there. You will love it. Glenn and Mindy do a wonderful job providing their customers with a fun, clean and ever-changing shopping experience. We are happy to join their team of vendors. Be sure to check out and like their page... https://www.facebook.com/glendysuptownmall/

Continue to like and follow our page here, because we will be posting photos consistently as we update our booth inventory.

Plus, this fall, we will be reintroducing our online Etsy store! We plan to bring you more handmade upcycled items, including assemblage art pieces. We will have fun finds for other artists to buy for their projects, too. As per usual, expect an eclectic mix of quality items...something for everyone!

We will announce the online store opening here as well, so be sure to follow along here.

The journey continues! Thank you for being on it with us!
