My hours are more like 6 to 10. But when you love what you do, work feels like play! And luckily I don’t feel the way Dolly describes about my job at all. I feel very lucky that I get to do what I do! I wake up every morning, so excited to go to work. But Dolly…. what a lady!

I digress. I just finished up this fireplace facelift. I worked for these clients many moons ago, renovating their kitchen, and they called me for Round 2. They wanted a linear electric fireplace from Dimplex North America with a stone façade. More of a modern take on a fireplace, and it came out absolutely beautiful! Complete living room transformation🔥

I’ve been a busy little bee this month! 🐝 Six active projects on the books. I think that’s a record! I certainly feel the Lord‘s blessing on my life. Every client is a dream. I’ve had so much fun connecting with them and bringing their visions to life: a whole house, nursery, kitchen, primary bath, living room, bathroom. Can’t wait to post some before and afters!

I’ll be wrapping these up within a week and then it’s WEDDING PREP TIME!!! I am fully planning to hijack my own Instagram for all the wedding content 👰‍♀️. A backyard garden wedding that will feel like Sunday Dinner on steroids! I’ll bring you along every step of the way! Stay tuned!

This day deserves to hold a permanent spot on my feed!!! Spent the weekend being celebrated by the best group of friends a girl could ask for! Totally surprised and showered with love. AND just a few short weeks away from getting to marry you Mike Benko I need to pinch myself!

Some jobs stay imprinted in my mind. This bathroom was really special. Not just the job part, but the client part. It represented a fresh start and a new beginning. I brought her dream bathroom to life and made it completely her own. But, I mean, who wouldn’t want to soak in that tub surrounded by dreamy tile!? Swipe for the before. You won’t believe it!👀

I just finished up this home in historic downtown charleston for the sweetest client! There wasn’t a room that we didn’t update! We gave her a new kitchen, primary bath, guest bath, and laundry. We also refreshed her space with new custom closets, lighting, and wallpaper that pops! It truly feels so clean and new. But I think my favorite part of the whole space is the “Mind the Gap” wallpaper from wallpaperdirect we installed in her son’s bathroom! 🦌 What a fun one!

I am in the process of renovating a whole home right in my hood. During our first meeting, these clients described their dream house. They told me how they spend their time. They told me about their family dynamic. And with that we dreamed up what this reno would look like ✨

During this phase we will be turning their office, library, living room, and upstairs FROG into the dreamiest rooms w/ tons of shelves for their books, a fireplace, places to hang their TVs, and custom mood lighting. We also have 3 bathrooms in the mix that we will transform into the moodiest man-cave bath and their daughter’s enchanted escape🪾

Not only do I love the design of this one, but this family is the salt of the earth!! I feel so lucky to be able to do this for people 💫 Wrapping this week on cloud nine! Happy Friday, friends!!

🌸Gracie’s room is finished🌸

Moving into our new house, while so exciting, also brought about a lot of new feelings. Gracie doesn’t love change. She’s a routine girl. She likes predictability, checklists, and her clothes put away in drawers by category. Wonder where she gets that from 😊

So my top priority was getting her room to a place where she felt comfortable, safe, and at peace. I got to work immediately installing her trim and painting. The icing on the cake was the wallpaper. She and I laid in bed and scrolled through endless wallpaper options, and ultimately we landed on this one from MINDY YOUNG • Wallpaper Designer • Artist. It couldn’t be more perfect!

Her room is now one of my favorite spaces in the house. She’s currently upstairs FaceTiming her girlfriends, showing them every little detail.

I truly feel that the work I do is also my ministry. It’s a way of loving people, hearing them, and creating spaces that make them feel seen and known. Getting to do that for my own child is such a gift. ❤️

Thank you Mindy for being wonderful to work with. And thank you Melissa Campbell for bringing my baby’s room to life!

Our kitchen is finally done!! Only took six weeks 🥴. It wasn’t even a full gut. We replaced door fronts, drawer fronts and painted all the cabinets & hardware, ran gas for new appliances, replaced all the countertops with my fav quartzite and black soapstone, and installed Snow Zellige backsplash.

A hazard of my job is that I have to do work for clients before I do anything for myself. That’s not a bad thing! It’s just reality. So typically I work all day and then come home and work on my own house in my PJs with a good glass of wine 🍷 We just finished up the backsplash which continues to be my favorite backsplash of all time! It’s classic but with a twist. The rustic feel of this tile combined with the glazed finish, gives me life! No square is the same. I can’t recommend it enough!

All the creative juices are flowing during my morning coffee, so I’ll take full advantage ☕️ My task is to make the perfect teenage girl’s bathroom. Her bedroom vibe will be “enchanted library”. I’m leaning towards a dusty rose/purple, natural wood tones, botanical wallpaper, and of course this stunning marble 🤩 vision linked in my 🏠 in bio 👆

Window treatments have never really been my top priority. I’ve always played it safe with white because apparently I have commitment issues 😂 But with our new bedroom, I really wanted to put more intention into the details.

I chose the Sara Le Print Linen Curtains in Porcelain by to bring in a little softness, femininity, and texture against our moody walls… and paired with the oak tones and natural wood furniture, I’m completely obsessed with the warmth it adds. 🤍
