I loved having the opportunity to bring this kitchen to life for our shoot with Molly Basile Interiors When styling a kitchen for photos I always like to focus on layering in natural materials for warmth, fresh and organic elements for texture, and signs of life to tell the story through our images by adding in that lived in charm. Nothing hits quite like some fresh cut Southern palms. Adding natural and textural florals and elements of greenery to shoots sparks the most joy for me. For those of you that don’t know… my path has been shaped by a lot of different creative roles and elements along with a lot of cross country moves that have brought me to where I am today. From originally working in fashion, wedding florals and events, home staging, and then finding my passion in Interiors with design and styling, it has been a fun and transformative journey! With my husbands soccer career we moved around a lot from team to team and city to city but finding our way to the south has been such an unexpected but perfect spot for us to land. 🫶🏼 🌱

You’ll notice we played around with styling elements in this second shot which is one of my favorite parts of a shoot day! Collaborating with the designer and photographer while adding or editing certain styling elements to get the perfect shot and allow the designer multiple options for their image gallery.

As an interior stylist I love a good house tour. This Charleston home had so much personality and fun design details throughout. From the curated wallpapers to the funky tile patterns, it was such a refreshing home to style because it had so many pops of personality.
