Mother/Daughter duo specializing in Cottage, Boho, Shabby and Coastal creations!! Hi there! Thanks for stopping by our page and Welcome to Sweet Rye Designs!

We are Melanie and Teryn - a mother/daughter duo who have a love for furniture restoration and bringing life back into old, forgotten pieces! We have refinished many pieces of furniture over the years and always lean towards a shabby chic or coastal flair! Melanie is a "Mimi" to three granddaughters, so she's always up for a girly spin on decor! While we love the thrill of the hunt and finding great pieces of furniture, we also provide custom painting. If you have furniture that no longer fits your personal style, is outdated, needs repairs or a facelift, we can help with that, too! Custom work is always a treat as furniture isn't made the same as it used to be! Solid wood furniture is hard to come by, so why not give that beauty a facelift!

Let’s talk about this gorgeous corner cabinet! Those curved glass doors, rich dark wooden shelves, and that moody blue finish… SO GOOD!

Not only does this beauty make a statement but she’s functional too! Plenty of room to display your favorite dishes, glassware, and collected treasures while making the most of that corner space!

And can you imagine her paired with our leggy blue buffet or that gorgeous wooden dresser we shared earlier?! Talk about a dining room DREAM!

She’ll be available THIS WEEKEND at Rust and Grain’s October Market!

This gorgeous 4-piece French Provincial bedroom set is giving us all the heart eyes! Painted in the beautiful, earthy shade Earthen Ash and finished with rich dark walnut stained tops, this set is the perfect combination of timeless elegance and vintage charm.

From those gorgeous curves to the original ornate hardware, every detail is just SO good! We absolutely love how these pieces came together!

This beauty is painted in the gorgeous deep blue Chestler by Fusion Mineral Paint and that rich, dark stained top is the perfect finishing touch!

Plenty of storage for alllll your things and can we talk about those legs?! She’s a little on the leggy side, which means even more room to style and display your favorite goodies underneath! We love a piece that’s both pretty AND practical!

Wowzers, THANK YOU for another incredible weekend! 🤍

We are always so grateful for every purchase, visit, kind word, share, and familiar face that walks through the doors. Your support truly means more than you know. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

This weekend also happened to mark 2 years of Sweet Rye at Rust and Grain, which makes us feel extra grateful. From the very beginning, this community welcomed us with open arms and we’ve felt that love ever since.

Life keeps getting busier, but we still genuinely love pouring into this little space of ours each month - finding the pieces, bringing them back to life, and creating a booth we hope you love walking into as much as we love putting it together.

We never take for granted that you choose to shop with us, follow along, tell a friend, or simply stop in to say hello. Two years later, we’re still just so grateful to be here, so THANK YOU!! 🤍

TODAY IS THE DAY! 🍂 We are SO excited to see you all!

The shop is absolutely packed with goodness this month - beautiful furniture, vintage finds, fall décor, and all those one of a kind pieces that make you stop and look twice. And this gorgeous buffet is just one little peek at what’s waiting for you!

Come wander, hunt for treasures, soak up all the fall feels, and say hi! We can’t wait to see what you find.

Tomorrow is the day!! 🍂 And apparently Mother Nature got the memo because we’re getting some serious fall feels - highs in the 70s?! We’ll take it!

And can we talk about this table?! This vintage Berkey & Gay dining table comes with 6 beautifully upholstered chairs and the whole set is just SO good. The deep, dark walnut stained top gives it such a rich, timeless look, especially against that creamy white base.

But the FABRIC. Make sure you check the comments for a close-up because the colors and detail are even better in person!

Come spend this gorgeous almost-fall day shopping with us tomorrow at Rust and Grain!

Just 2 DAYS until the September Market at Rust and Grain!

The number of pieces we’ve painted in Earthen Ash by Wise Owl is… a lot. 😂 But for GOOD reason - it works. Every. Single. Time.

It’s the perfect neutral with just enough color to make a statement and this tall vintage dresser wears it SO well. The light, warm wood top, original-style hardware, those sweet little legs… she’s just pretty from top to bottom!

🍂 Saturday, September 19 | 9–4
🍂 Sunday, September 20 | 10–3

Will we see you this weekend?! Tell us what day you’re coming!
