Had the honor of building a helmet stand for retiring Charlotte Firefighter Billy Mitchell of Station 10. We used a beautiful ambrosia maple slab for a coastal look, as he and his wife plan to move to the beach. Congrats, Firefighter Mitchell, and thank you for 25 years of service—and thank you, Station 10, for trusting me with this very special build.

Ambrosia Maple from Appalachian Walnut Co. Inc. finish is Rubio Monocoat corn silk followed by Rubio Sheen Plus.

Just oiled this 16”x24”x1-1/2” thick Big Bison 🦬 Brisket Board for tomorrow night’s Sportsman Banquet Silent Auction at New Covenant Church, Mount Holly, NC. Doors open at 5pm. Spaghetti & Lasagna Dinner and guest speaker Pete Roger’s from Christian Outdoors. Tickets $15 at the door. Great family event bring the kids!!!

I have a Big Bison Brisket Board in process if anyone has been wanting a custom cutting board. It measures 25” long x 16-1/2” wide x 1-5/8” thick. Finished piece will have perimeter juice groove to catch all the mess when slicing meats. I can also custom laser engrave pretty much anything.

Made from locally sourced black walnut and ash.

Would come oiled and include a tin of my board butter to keep it sealed and protected. $350
