We're carrying on our tradition of creating a colorway for the Olympic Games and I was THRILLED when I saw the palette for the 2026 Winter Games, held in Italy this year. All of my favorite colors got to come out and play... Soul, Navy, Yarn Garden Green and a little pop of Chartreuse!

I settled on the name "Competitive Soul" as a nod to my favorite color and the spirit of the athletes that participate in the Games. Preorder your yarn by January 31st to get your yarn in time for the Opening Ceremonies on February 6th!

For me, February is the hardest month to get through in Michigan. Don't get me wrong, I love winter and snow and snuggling inside, but February feels like it drags on and on. I always dream of planning a vacation somewhere tropical, to soak up some light and color and sunshine, to help get through the rest of the gray time in Michigan. "Somewhere Tropical" is the name of our February COTM, inspired by my imaginary tropical vacation and my daughter Sydney's tropical honeymoon trip to Hawaii. Turquoise, sand, and speckles of hot pink, orange and green bring the tropical to you without the expensive plane ticket!

Inspired by the colors found in the layers of ice and dirt of glaciers❄, our January Color Of The Month (COTM) features layers of mint green, icy blue and cool lavender. In the world of Gnome River, these giant fields of ice and snow atop Mt. Artemis and Mt. Apollo 🏔 are occupied by some sort of large creature. We speculate that it must be a family of yetis, but the only clue they leave behind is footprints! 👣

December's color is inspired by the Winter Solstice. The longest night of the year, with promises of the 🌞 light returning, "The Light Returns" is a reflection of Earth's promise, with dark shadows fading into golden yellow. Another symbol of the Winter Solstice, lit candles and 🌿 holly, is represented in the stitch marker. Preorder now to guarantee delivery by December 1st!
