🍂Mecklenburg Oktoberfest🍂, from the producers of the Taste of Charlotte Festival, is a full day celebration on Oct 7, 2023 at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte. The day will begin with the Pink Cupcake Walk for Breast Cancer benefiting Go Jen Go, rolling into the Charlotte Knights Pumpkin Patch. The Oktoberfest celebration kicks off at gates open to the public at 11am, offering a mix of authentic entertainment, local craft beer, shopping, live music, family activities, food and more!

🎟️Admission is FREE to Mecklenburg Oktoberfest. Food and beverage can be purchased with festival coins, available on the Taste of Charlotte App or at Coin Booths inside Truist Field.

🎶Entertainment Line Up:
🍻BIERGARTEN and 🍷WIENZELT (Beer Garden and Wine Cellar): Live Music featuring local
regional bands playing traditional German Oktoberfest Music in addition to a mix of rock and
pop on multiple stages. German beers from The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Legion Brewery, and Gilde! More beverage options of wine, slushies, and more. Purchase a stein and toast the day
away!
🌭FOOD: Dozens of food options from area Restaurants and Food Vendors will feature German
based menu items Vote on your favorite Brat or Sausage! Use coins to purchase.
🛍️MARKET: From your favorite fall produce and homegrown goodness to an eclectic shopping.
🛝KINDERSPIELPLATZ (Kids Play Area): From Gyro Climbing Wall to Bounce Houses Obstacle Courses.
🧁PINK CUPCAKE WALK together with TRUIST: Participants will make four laps get cupcakes from local bakeries for each completed lap. The event raises funds for Go Jen Go, a local nonprofit supporting individuals fighting breast cancer.
🎃PUMPKIN PATCH presented by CIRCLE K. Bring the family and pick out the best pumpkin for the season. Pumpkin Painting, decorating and other fall activities throughout the day.

"After a 12 hour road trip (one way), an international flight and 2 "glamping" trips in a RV this year, I've learned the key to keeping my kids entertained and whine-free. It's the element of surprise. Each trip I've packed surprise bags for them to open every couple of hours. This is a hack I've read from other parenting and travel blogs. I've seen these surprise bags packed with all sorts of toys and activities. I saw some great ideas but going out to the store and purchasing the items was a to-do I didn't want to tackle. Preparing for trips and packing for our family of 4 can be daunting. So I packed several of Sydney's Art Kits to get us through. It's the cure to the, "Are we there yet" woes."
