What's on my needles?
Well, it's no longer on my needles! That's right, I finished my Flock Vest. All that's left is to weave in ends and block!

And I wrapped up my September project 🫣, which was a basic blank canvas hat for Natalie. I plan to add some embroidery soon!

I'm wearing the Cooma Cowl by Laura Dobratz (at least for the first part of the video. I got hot!). It's knit using five Gnomelets and one ball of Aerial Color.

Fit to Knit: A Sweater Planning Workshop
Starting Saturday, November 7th from 10:00a - 4:00p

Have you ever dreamed of knitting a sweater that fits you just right? Join us at Yarn Garden for Fit to Knit, a sweater-planning workshop designed to help you understand sweater fit, make informed pattern choices, and start your next sweater project with confidence.
We'll begin the day with Karen Collins, who will lead a lecture-based exploration of The Knitter's Sweater Fitting Bible by Kim McBrien Evans. You'll learn about the principles of sweater fit, body measurements, ease, and the many factors that contribute to a garment you'll love wearing.
In the afternoon, we'll put that knowledge into practice! Working together, we'll take body measurements, discuss your preferred fit, explore the pattern templates in the book, and develop a personalized plan for your new sweater project.
But the learning doesn't stop when the workshop ends! Your registration includes two check-in sessions and a February Sweater Celebration at Yarn Garden. These relaxed, supportive gatherings are your opportunity to bring your knitting, ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, and get guidance as your sweater takes shape. We'll wrap up at the end of February by celebrating our progress, sharing finished sweaters, and cheering on those still working toward the finish line.
