Well… it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything.

I haven’t disappeared — I’ve just been covered in sawdust and spending some quality time in the shop.

Just wrapped up this custom shelf build featuring gorgeous black walnut and some exotic hardwood accents, and I had to finally hop back on here to share it. The grain, the color contrast, the character in the wood… this one turned out good.

Here’s a look at what goes into building a set of handcrafted cherry end tables — from raw lumber to finished piece. Every cut, joint, and sanding pass is done with care and attention to detail to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.

These tables measure 23"x23"x22" and are made from solid cherry that will only grow richer in color over time. Proud to say these were built right here in the shop from start to finish!

Just finished building this black walnut and maple knife block — and it has a special story behind it. 🪵🔪

This was the very first knife block I’ve ever made, and it was built entirely from scrap wood left over from past projects. What started as offcuts destined for the scrap bin turned into something beautiful and functional.

There’s something rewarding about giving new life to leftover materials — a reminder that nothing goes to waste in the shop when creativity is involved.

I've just started crafting a new line of modern-style shelves — and this cherry hardwood beauty is one of the first in the collection. Handmade with care, it features rich cherry wood, clean modern lines, and inlaid mirrors that give it a subtle, reflective elegance.
This design has been a fun new direction, and I'm already working on more variations that I can’t wait to show you — different woods, new inlay styles, and unique layouts that will all be available for purchase soon.
