Well… it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything.

I haven’t disappeared — I’ve just been covered in sawdust and spending some quality time in the shop.

Just wrapped up this custom shelf build featuring gorgeous black walnut and some exotic hardwood accents, and I had to finally hop back on here to share it. The grain, the color contrast, the character in the wood… this one turned out good.

🎥 Behind the Scenes: Cherry End Tables in the Making 🪵✨

Here’s a look at what goes into building a set of handcrafted cherry end tables — from raw lumber to finished piece. Every cut, joint, and sanding pass is done with care and attention to detail to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.

These tables measure 23"x23"x22" and are made from solid cherry that will only grow richer in color over time. Proud to say these were built right here in the shop from start to finish!

Check out the video for a glimpse into the process — and feel free to drop a comment or message if you're interested in a set for your home.

Just finished building this black walnut and maple knife block — and it has a special story behind it. 🪵🔪

This was the very first knife block I’ve ever made, and it was built entirely from scrap wood left over from past projects. What started as offcuts destined for the scrap bin turned into something beautiful and functional.

There’s something rewarding about giving new life to leftover materials — a reminder that nothing goes to waste in the shop when creativity is involved.

If you'd like a custom knife block made from premium hardwoods (and a little story behind it), feel free to reach out!

🔪✨ Crafted to Last, Designed to Impress ✨🔪

Looking for a kitchen upgrade that combines functionality and beauty? Our Handmade Black Walnut & Purple Heart End Grain Cutting Boards are here to elevate your culinary experience. 🌟

Each board is expertly handcrafted using the finest Black Walnut and Purple Heart hardwoods, then meticulously arranged in an end grain pattern for superior durability and performance. This unique design not only enhances the aesthetics of your kitchen but also offers unmatched functionality for years of use.

Why Choose Our End Grain Cutting Boards?

End Grain Construction: The fibers of the wood face upward, which helps preserve the sharpness of your knives. Less wear and tear on your blades means longer-lasting kitchen tools!

Self-Healing Surface: The end grain design naturally absorbs cuts and scratches, helping the board “heal” over time. Say goodbye to deep grooves and hello to a cleaner cutting surface!

Durable & Hard-Wearing: The end grain construction adds extra strength, making it resistant to damage and perfect for heavy-duty chopping.

Beautiful & Unique: The contrasting colors of Black Walnut and Purple Heart create a striking and one-of-a-kind piece that doubles as functional art for your kitchen.

Sustainable & Handcrafted: Made from responsibly sourced hardwoods, each board is designed with care and precision.

Whether you're a professional chef or a home cook, this cutting board will take your kitchen to the next level! 💪🔥
