Hola!! I have found that yard work is my new fave workout. I use to struggle getting up to get a jog or walk in before the Summer sun. But now, your girl can’t jump out of bed fast enough! I be too hype to slip on my pank (pink) Crocs, grab my pank water bottle in hand, just to stand in my yard like a proud parent and listen to what I want to do. Some days it’s just watering and others (like today) I’m in the mood to get my hands dirty. I’ve found that planting, beautifying and nurturing earth gives me the same boost as I get from my daily runs/walks without coffee. This morning I found myself dancing in my yard and all I could do was laugh 😂. I’m sure my neighbors seen me..but ask me if I care 😂. They gonna see this Black girl magic & joy 💁🏾‍♀️. The only con to this workout is that it is not a cheap one. But who can put a price on happiness? Um all the home improvement stores & plant nurseries, that’s who 😂. I’m sure my bank account is like “Lawd here she goes, again!” They probably gonna call me when I place the order for mulch😩🤣
