Reintroducing the face behind Homestyles: Regina Shea

Regina joined Homestyles at the beginning of 2021, bringing 21 years of marketing project management experience to her role as Design Assistant. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, she brings a creative eye and a strong background in project coordination to the team.

Regina’s favorite types of projects are furniture and window treatments, helping bring a room together through the details that make a space feel complete.

Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Regina has called Cornelius, North Carolina, home for the past 12 years.

Outside of Homestyles, Regina enjoys walking her dog, Pepe, ISI Training workouts, live music and concerts, theater, hiking, traveling, cooking, making art, and spending time with friends and family.

There’s something about a beautiful bathroom that makes everyday routines feel a little more special. 💙

This dreamy blue was the perfect choice for this space, bringing in just the right amount of color while keeping the room feeling timeless.

If you’ve been dreaming about a bathroom that feels like you, we’d love to help bring it to life.

Your home should be beautiful, but it should also make sense for the way you live.

A big part of our job as interior designers is thinking through the things that aren’t always obvious at first. How you move through a room, where furniture should go, what the space needs to function well, what pieces are worth investing in, and how everything can work together cohesively.

Because a well-designed home isn’t just about how it looks in a photograph. It’s about how it feels to live in every day.

We want to create spaces that feel beautiful, comfortable and intentional, while also making your home work better for you and your lifestyle.

So consider this your weekly reminder: you deserve to love where you live. And if your home isn’t quite there yet, that’s what we’re here for.

Reach out to us for your next interior design project.

A little reminder of just how much art can do for a room!

The right piece can bring in color, add warmth, fill an empty wall, and make a space feel a little more like you.

And it’s not just about the artwork itself. Size, scale, color, placement, and how it works with everything around it all matter.

Sometimes it’s the art that pulls the whole room together.

Need a little help finding the right art for your space? We’d love to help with your art and design needs.

Reintroducing the face behind Homestyles: Brittany Raines

Brittany’s Homestyles story began more than 18 years ago when she joined Wendy as an intern while studying at the Art Institute of Charlotte. After graduating valedictorian, she continued growing her career on the Homestyles team and has been creating beautiful, livable homes ever since.

Brittany’s favorite part of design is getting to know the families she works with and creating spaces that feel uniquely theirs. She has a particular passion for reworking existing architecture ahead of a remodel, especially kitchens and baths, as well as incorporating treasured pieces into a fresh space.

She especially loves relocation projects, helping families make a new or new-to-them house feel like home from day one.

Outside of Homestyles, Brittany enjoys time with her daughter, Evey, volunteering at her school and activities, gardening, dance, and Pilates.

With more than 18 years at Homestyles, we’re so grateful for everything Brittany brings to our team and our clients.
