So much has changed in Boone since I left in 2008. But those mountains are still the most magnificent. The last pic is a business that always had the best view. It was a venue. A restaurant called Canyons and a long time ago a grocery store. I've seen some great music here. Even worked in the kitchen way back in the day. I just don't understand how this place is not raging with business as they have the best view in Blowing Rock. Right now it's just a safer place to pull over for a pic. Abandoned. 🫣
