I am so excited to see this board in use. I made it for my daughter-in-law. As you can see, she has harvested and is processing some of her passion fruit from her prolific bearing plant. It’s a very juicy fruit and this board with juice groove is perfect for this task.
I am making two more similar boards for shows this fall and they will also be available in my online store at aultmanwoodworks.com.

“Sun & Sand”
A new home decor piece from the shop. It actually evolved, the way most of my work does. Rarely, do I visualize the finished piece at the beginning of the process-freedom to change my mind. Available on my website at aultmanwoodworks.com or upcoming shows.

Sectional sofas have been around for a long time but a sofa tray for sectionals is a relatively new accessory. My creation is made from elm with a transparent walnut stain that adds depth but still accents the natural wood grain. The attached bottom insert is 6 inches deep and slips between the cushions for a stable surface to hold snacks, phone, tv remote, book, etc. The raised edge profile prevents items from sliding off. It is available at my online store aultmanwoodworks.com.

First, I want to thank all of you who have visited my revamped website. Much appreciated!
Next, I want to highlight several accessory items featuring integral wood parts made in our own wood shop—a condiment server, salad dressing bottles, and w**e corks. These are hand crafted and created with the same care and attention as all of our work and can add a special touch to your table.
More detailed descriptions are on the website and each piece can be purchased there.
