Not sure what to sew with our new Cotton Stripe jersey? Shop owner Deren recommends the Max Tee by This boxy muscle tee has a few options for the neckline, we like sewing View A with the neckline facing with this fabric.

It’s that time again! has begun, and to celebrate, our pals over at have graced us with their brand new pattern! This elastic waist, barrel leg pant is so comfy and fun for summer! and both tested this pattern and have a second pair already in the queue! Linens, denims, and knits are here!

While in the midst of Yarn Crawl prep chaos, we've also been adding fabric by the armloads (bolt loads?😂) to our shelves. We have been busy restocking our tried and true shop favorites, as well as branching out with new fabric offerings.

Something exciting landed in the shop yesterday! 😍😍😍

We gave our newsletter subscribers first dibs on these incredible quilted cotton jacquards from and we were so surprised by the colorway that sold out first!

We currently have 3 of the 4 colorways available in the shop now!

These unique fabrics are only produced in 3 meter pieces, so we have decided to sell the pieces whole. This allows us to reduce remnant waste and offer this fabric at our best price possible. We are currently unable to sub cut these pieces.

Cozy cotton fleece (+ribbing!) for a snowy day ❄️ We are so excited to add matching ribbings for some of our classic cotton fabrics.

You all know we are big fans in the shop, so Jessamy sewed up the Wren Fleece in our organic cotton fleece with matching ribbing for the neck and cuffs. This pattern is such a fun sew, with a few elevated twists on a traditional sweatshirt. Those deep box pleats on the sleeve are such a fun surprise!

The Slow Shirt from our friends at released yesterday and we ( & ) were pattern testers!

We obviously chose to 👯‍♀️ and sewed ours up in Fineline Twill, a newer fabric addition for us. It is a light weight cotton twill from Robert Kaufman, and it sewed up beautifully. (We do both really think this top would be dreamy in linen though!)

We have created a collection on our website with our fabric suggestions and all the notions you would need for machine or hand sewing.

We are open today, 1/28 from 12-5 pm. We have made the decision to cancel Makers Circle, due to cold weather and icy conditions this evening.

Our parking lot is somewhat clear, but please use extreme caution. There are icy patches, and not all sidewalks in and around West Main are clear. While we would love to see you in the shop, please do not take any unnecessary risks!

Stay safe everyone! The roads in town are ok, but parking lots and sidewalks still seem to be quite icy. We’re giving it another day to be on the safe side and will reopen on Wednesday at 12pm. Our snowstorm sale will continue online through the end of the day today, and we will begin shipping orders when we’re back tomorrow!
