This weekend was a really big weekend for our business (our biggest ever) and we want you all to know how thankful we are! (It was also a big weekend as parents 😆).
Something that started as a little dream for me has turned into something much bigger than I thought it could be.
This weekend we had not one, but two weddings, our local Homecoming (and our daughter is a freshman), and the Westside Market. Whewwww!
This translates into:
32 HoCo bouquets
21 HoCo boutonnières
9 HoCo corsages
5 HoCo rings
A bridal bouquet
4 bridesmaids bouquets
2 corsages
4 centerpieces
13 boutonnières
27 market wraps
16 to go cups
14 mug arrangements
10 bud vases
With the exception of the market wraps, I designed and made every single piece - just me. Chet is allowed to help with market wraps 😆
What you don’t see are the hours and hours of cutting flowers, processing flowers, hours upon hours of studying dress details, choosing stems, assembling each piece with attention to detail, packaging, labeling, delivering, setting up . . . And cleaning up this shop every night to start fresh the next day.
Your daughter isn’t just a “royal blue dress” to me - She’s a “Royal Blue Dress. Iridescent beading. Her favorite color is pink. She doesn’t care for yellow. She’d love a mix of bright and bold colors. Her date is wearing navy pants with a white shirt and pink tie.”
I know there are less expensive options out there. I so appreciate everyone that chose to give us their business knowing that I work so hard to create really special pieces. There are a lot of other places you can shop for flowers. Thank you - THANK YOU - for choosing us.
