Antique map of part of Vietnam from the Grand Atlas Departemental de la France de l'Algerie et des Colonies by Levasseur in 1877. This is the southern-most part of Vietnam with Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, as well as Ca Mau, Can Tho, An Giang, and even includes Phnom Penh in Cambodia (outside the colored area).

Rome, Italy - Roma (Reproduction Map)

High-quality hand-printed and hand-colored reproduction of an antique view of the city of Rome, Italy by Georg Balthasar Probst c. 1745. With a key at the bottom labeling the buildings of the city and coat of arms at top. This reproduction was made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press. It is then hand colored. Approx. 9.25 x 29.25 inches to image border.

High quality giclee reproduction of an unusual circular antique colored lithograph Birds-Eye View map of the White Mountains, New Hampshire, produced by the Boston and Maine Railroad, 1902. Shows views and descriptions of mountains in all directions from the top of Mt. Washington. There's a magnificent sketch of the buildings at the top and the railroad line going from other areas to the top of the mountain. Shows Mount Washington ravines. Area towns are also indicated as well as each mountain peak with numbered keys.

High quality giclee reproduction of a birds eye view map showing the area from Gloucester MA to New York City, NY, and including Boston, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Long Island, Narragansett, and more. With an inset map of Manhattan with the Bronx and part of Brooklyn. Shows light ships, light houses, railroads, major cities, some towns, and the Joy Line- a steamship route between Boston and New York. This map was made by George Walker and copyrighted in 1905 by the Joy Steamship Co.

Boarding the ferry to Nantucket- a familiar sight, almost 100 years later and not much has changed!

1930 - Nantucket Travel Booklet - Antique Travel Booklet with Map

Antique travel booklet of Nantucket, published by the New York, New Haven, & Hartford R.R. Co. with a map by Rand McNally & Co. The map seems to be dated 1925 but some numbers near the printing company suggest it could have been printed as late as 1931. The map shows Nantucket Island, with roads (red are probably paved roads), Golf Courses, lighthouses, and steamship lines. The railroad on Nantucket ceased service in 1917, so it is not on this map. The tourism booklet is full of wonderful information and photos. The artwork on the cover and small drawings throughout the book are by John Held Jr.

Antique black and white print from Harper's Weekly May 22, 1880 showing a wide variety of dog breeds. The 1880 Westminster Kennel Club Bench Show was a major canine exhibition held in early May at Gilmore's Garden (precursor to Madison Square Garden) in New York, featuring 395 dogs. This era (1880s) was critical in setting early breed standards.
