Come in and check out new yarn Ella Rae Prismatic! We have just stocked all eight colors of this DK weight variegated yarn. Tempe is pairing it with Berroco Ultra Wool to knit this adorable baby sweater. Pattern is Xanadu by Jackie McAvoy (kiddliwinksknits). The pattern uses slipped stitches to get this beautiful color mingling, so you are only working with one color per round!

Have you signed up yet for our upcoming Visible Mending class? We still have a few spots left! This is a two part class starting this Saturday, Sept 19 from 9-11 am and concluding Saturday Oct 3, same time. In the first class you will see and practice different ways of mending and using decorative stitches to repair garments including darning, simple embroidery stitches and sashiko. In the (optional) second class, bring in an item that you would like to use your new skills on and get help with doing that.

We want to celebrate our very talented customers. Did you exhibit an item in the Wool Booth at the Chatham Fair last week? As in past years, we want to show off your creativity to Main Street. Would you be willing to lend us your items for about 2 weeks so they can be displayed in The Warm Ewe’s windows? You can drop them off at the shop this weekend. Be sure to include any ribbons you won. Thank you.
