It’s been one year since we decided to make our dream a reality. With Alec being the pro at woodworking and the brains behind the business to me being the media/creative/artsy person, I’d say we make a pretty good team.

We want to sincerely thank those who have supported us whether it be purchasing our products, believing in us, sharing our page and interacting with us on social media.

We know we haven’t been that active in keeping up our social media or creating new things. We are hoping to change that in the near future. The last couple months we’ve been brainstorming new ideas, projects, etc. to really make our little business bloom.

In the meantime, if you are needing coasters, a plaque or a decorative wood piece, please keep us in mind and don’t hesitate to reach out by shooting us a private message.

Our latest piece was a custom made anniversary plaque. This plaque is made of walnut wood, with the “60” made from inlaid polar wood. The walnut and poplar were chosen to have a stark contrast between the light and the dark. There were no stains or artificial colors added to this piece in an attempt to bring out the natural color of the wood.

Happy 4th everyone! We hope all of you are having a fun and safe weekend! 🇺🇸

We are constantly learning, changing, and adapting since we’ve started our small business. We are learning what works and what doesn’t, how to make our website experience more user friendly, the list goes on!
These things have ultimately led us to make several small changes to better serve our customers:
1. Re-design our website to essentially be more organized and simplistic.
2. ABS Mercantile is not limited to just making wood signs (even though those are pretty great). We can make almost anything. If you have a vision or an idea, we will make it come to life. Furniture pieces, coasters, decorations, etc.)
