Trust Me, Get Out The Way, & LET ME BE GOD!!!
****CONFESSION TIME****
So, this weekend I did an "impromptu" bake sale. I was going to go to a location and set up outside. But, I really didn't feel like that, (earlier in the day it looked little cloudy, windy) plus, I didn't have that much product to really do full set-up I felt. I created a flyer and everything, but I didn't post it (other than to a few friend's via messenger) Here I am, taking baby steps.. (thinking in my head, well I don't have what I want, I just want to see how it will turn out, etc.etc.etc.- discouraging myself more than encouraging myself - ever did that before?..I'm sure someone can relate)
Anywhoo, unbeknownst to me, it was shared by a dear friend.. God used that friend to bless me in ways that I wasn't even expecting!!.
In the end, I was not only wiped out, but made connections that could lead to other open doors and opportunities. 🙌❤️🙌
I was reminded today as I looked back on my journey that "Made With Love, Marlynn's Sweet Treats" was birthed in January 2019, out of a vision God gave me.I was at a place where I was seeking work, really not feeling fulfilled with what I had done, needed income and nothing was working out for me.. I was reminded of the woman in the bible, who was about to lose her 2 sons due to debt collection, she thought she had nothing to give and she was advised to look in "her cubbard".. all she had was a small jar of olive oil, the prophet told them to go to the neighbors houses and borrow as many empty jars they could, and fill them up with the oil.. from there, through God's Supernatural Miraculous Power, Promises, and What He had given her, she was able to meet the needs of her debt, and she had left.."More In Store!" for her household, family...
Through this journey, I have taken my hand to bake, I had good seasons with it, and I've had drought seasons where I just didn't do anything!. But, I always go back to the start, the beginning and what God showed me. This weekend, was living proof of God's blessings and what I'm capable of doing. Even, he will use other's to bless you as well..
Moral of my Long Story- I don't know if anyone needs to hear this, or I'm just talking to myself.. but God say, TRUST ME, GET OUT THE WAY, AND LET ME BE GOD!
