Another favorite transformation from this beautiful 1923 neoclassical home!

Some pieces are simply too beautiful to replace. This timeless Empire sofa, already cherished by the family, was thoughtfully reupholstered to give it a fresh, updated feel while preserving its character. By removing the traditional tufting and selecting a clean, modern fabric, we created a more streamlined silhouette that honors the home’s history while seamlessly complementing its new design.

We want to take some time to highlight a few of our favorite transformations from our recent feature in CityScope Magazine.

First up: a true focal point, this custom range hood blends bold black steel with handcrafted copper accents, including decorative rivets and a custom pot rail. Designed to complement the hammered copper sink and custom-wrapped copper kitchen table, every detail works together to create a cohesive, timeless design. The rich contrast of black and copper evokes the warmth and charm of a classic English scullery while adding depth, character, and sophistication to the heart of the home.
