Joe’s Hot Sausage Dip

1 lb. ground sausage
1 10 oz. can original Rotel, drained
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Cook sausage in a large skillet, drain well. In mixing bowl, stir together cooked sausage, drained Rotel, softened cream cheese and 2 cups shredded cheese. Spoon into a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheese on top. Bake for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with Scoops. Enjoy!

…we have a bunch of beautiful arrangements that we did for Baylor School’s Annual Scholarship Dinner tonight. They have graciously donated them for us to pass them along to an assisted living home or group of any sort that may need a pick me up. Just call the shop in the morning and let us know how many you’d like, and come by and pick them up tomorrow. Thanks Baylor!

…going splishy splashy retro, celebrating 11 years in The Scout Guide Chattanooga and 11 years of the Scout Guide Chattanooga! …last night’s The Scout Guide Chattanooga, Volume 11 Launch Party was a “Green Dream”! It was so fun planning this special event with , Editor of and . A few fun design elements we did, a tunnel of smilax arches and pillars for the entranceway…then you walked in to a botanical backdrop of trees, plants, mounds of pine needles, mood moss, light up orbs, and hanging smilax orbs. To create this “green oasis” we use chicken wire coming out of plants to create flowing mounds covered in the pine needles and mood moss. (Thanks to for giving us free pick of any plants on the entire lot!). One of my favorite elements we created were the 14 hanging orbs. To make these, we used 2 XL wire hanging baskets, zip tied them together to create the round forms, we then covered them with chicken wire, and then covered them with smilax. To top them all off for the party, we inserted tap lights to illuminate them. It sure was a magical night and The Clay Pot is so grateful to have been a part of it!

We will have the flowers at your table when you arrive! Simple as that! Wonderful dinner, beautiful flowers...a winning combo! For Valentine’s reservations, call St. John’s at 423-266-4400. (If you’ve already made your reservation for your Valentine’s dinner and would like to add the flowers, simply call St. John’s and they’ll add the flowers to your reservation)
