Flowers at the park in October.

I had to stop and take pictures of this cotton field on 72 on my way to Decatur Alabama. This was the day the hurricane struck the Gulf Coast in the evening. I wanted to get pictures before it moved up to Northern Alabama. I hope the cotton survived the winds and the rain today. The cotton was so white. They were beautiful big fields of cotton.

So many friends are venturing on to life other than here on earth. Another sweet soul lived 88 years full of faith and with the such a fun laugh and long talks on Fridays with me. My older friends enrich my life greatly and I so hope I add joy to theirs. Betty I enjoyed our moments together more than you know. Your flowers are so beautiful just like you.

The wildflower field at the park is coming to it’s summer’s end. Just a few flowers still here. Hopefully they will return next year in all their glory.
