Before and ✨After✨…

There was a point when we wondered if we would ever be able to open our new home decor store in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, called Brook Isle. The original open date was supposed to be either October 5 or November 1……in 2025. But we opened MONTHS later on February 20, 2026. We naively had Christmas fully planned🎄and had to pack it away. Then we had to pack up Valentine’s 💕 items too. It was a lot of extra work (in terms of products) but we knew we held none of the power.

The wait and the delay only made the grand opening all the more sweeter. Today we feel so grateful for our customers and the community. We take all the feedback we hear very seriously, especially the compliments!!

Meet the✨Brook Isle✨team. This clip from the Goodfellas movie (based on a true story!) has been used effectively only a handful of times on Instagram, but it really makes me laugh.😆🤭We are a cast of characters, yes, but we work very hard to bring you an awesome shopping experience. And for the record, Leah is quite trim💪, and Donna has a lovely nose👃.

Decorating your home is a large, creative evolution over time, and you should not be afraid to try new things like bold colors, textures, or patterns. We recently painted our living room and kitchen blue and it really is beautiful and we wish we did it a long time ago. 💙💙💙

🌞The weather here in Eastern Pennsylvania has been lovely 😊 and we are gearing up for the real heat to come rolling in tomorrow. Soon after that will be the first holiday weekend of summer.🇺🇸Memorial Day. In between the holidays of summer (Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day) are graduations, Father’s Day, retirements, birthdays, bridal showers and other events. Brook Isle has fabulous gifts small and large. Don’t forget our large stationery section too!

🌸🌺🌷🍋🍋‍🟩Just spent a few days resetting the shop, moving some things out, bringing in new products, deep cleaning, and making plans for new displays. I personally like a lot of “order” and I don’t like too many things all “spread around”. We hope when you walk in to Brook Isle you feel a sense of calm and beauty. 🌿🍃✨

🙏☺️The business we’ve built is something I dreamed about and prayed for. The pursuit of joy is our tagline and we mean it. I don’t take my situation for granted—even for a moment. I started a wholesale business called Brook Isle in 2019 (stationery, tea towels, placemats, bookmarks, notepads and notebooks; all proudly Made in the USA 🇺🇸) and added a retail store front in 2026 because it felt like the right time. To be able to do this after 30 years in advertising and marketing is a gift. Feeling grateful after an incredible week of working really hard in the shop filling wholesale orders, ringing up and wrapping Mother’s Day gifts, and organizing our storage area. Grateful for family, friends, and of course our fabulous customers and community. Yay, Chester Springs! We have more joyful shopping now. Yes, we are open on Mother’s Day from 11-4.
