My client wanted these stools updated to match her new kitchen.

The seats needed to be reupholstered in a faux leather that could be easily wiped clean—because kids. Say no more, I get it! 🙌

She also wanted the stool legs to coordinate with the other wood accents throughout the space. The legs were refinished using Dixie Belle Paint Company Voodoo Gel Stain in Whiskey Barrel, creating the perfect warm wood tone to compliment the kitchen.

Remember when dark stained furniture was “The thing”? Now everyone is looking to lighten things up again and I’m here for it!

I’m loving how this birch dining set refinish turned out. ✨ The perfect warm wood tone with just the right amount of depth.

For this finish, I used a custom stain blend with Voodoo Gel Stain in Whiskey Barrel, followed by a decorative brown glaze. Everything was sealed with 4 coats of satin polycrylic top coat for a durable, smooth finish.

It was the wood detailing on the doors of this vintage accent cabinet that first caught my eye. 🤍

They give the piece so much character and with its new finish, that detail really pops now instead of getting lost.

Painted in the perfect neutral greige, it has that soft, timeless look that works in just about any space. I kept some of its original charm by touching up the hardware with gold gilding wax by Dixie Belle Paint Company.✨

✨ **SOLD **One of a kind glass top desk / vanity ✨

I had a vision for this piece the moment I saw it, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. What was once a tired old desk is now a beautiful, refreshed statement piece that could work perfectly as a desk or a vanity. The details, the finish, the character — it all came together exactly how I imagined.

Now comes the hard part… deciding if I can actually let it go. 😅

Is it for sale… maybe? I’m not going to lie, I would absolutely love to keep this one for myself. But I’m not sure I have the space!

My client said, “I can’t just throw it away.”

These barrel chairs were just reupholstered in a black, gray, and tan houndstooth plaid fabric but their story goes back decades. Built to last, and loved through generations!
