While trying to do a little exterior spring tidy at our house we were tackling the light fixtures on the front of the garage. They had collected a lot of dust and pollen and needed a good bit of interior and exterior cleaning. After one light was nearly finished, the hubs picked up a small stone that was in the drive and gave it a little toss. Who would have thought that it would hit the glass of the yet to be cleaned lantern. Crash...one side of the lantern has shattered glass. Two steps forward and 5 steps backwards. If only you could have seen the look on his face when he realized what he had done...priceless! I'm thinking 2 new lanterns may be in order. How many steps have you made forward...or backward with your spring/summer projects?!!???
