We’ve noticed a lot of people upset that businesses are using AI graphics for advertisements, logos and such.
But we understand why people are using them. It’s fast, often free or inexpensive, and looks way more advanced than what a graphic designer would generally offer.
Both graphics have uses.
The two photos are our design of a local businesses logo and the AI version.
We know you like the AI better but for printed logos (especially embroidery) our logo will be legible whereas the AI logo will not.
They both can be used digitally and still look nice. So in social media advertisements or videos both images work here.
Your graphic artist will make sure that you get a copy or both the dark and light background options so you can use them on paper and light backgrounds like walls, uniforms, merch. Etc.
AI does not compare here. I asked AI to turn the background white and the result wasn’t too bad but then I asked it to make it an embroidered patch on a shirt and the results were terrible. Also the company has no yellow in their colors so that wasn’t acceptable.
So see there is use for both. Go crazy with your AI ads you can make them anyway you want them. They can be serious or funny the Good knights just did a silly one for Easter. But for the business part of business. The contracts, checks, paperwork, business cards, uniforms, swag etc.

I think it’s important to not shame businesses for using them. It’s really hard running a business and expensive too. Business owners can’t always hire a graphic artist every time they post. Can you imagine the bill for every Merry Christmas, now hiring, weekly special, food/merch add? Give these owners a break. They are making do with what time, funds and energy they have.
But we thought we’d just share the differences with you so you could better understand all the options available to you and your business.
