Need to look into my yarn stash and see if I have enough Christmas color yarns to start with the platemats.

🧶 A New Chapter in My Crochet Journey

Crocheting has been my therapy for the past eight years. What began with a few requests from a friend and my grandson grew into a collection of toys, dolls, characters, and memory figurines.

Through grief, trial and error, and countless hours of creating, crocheting has helped me rediscover my creativity.
I believe there is room for all crocheters. We each have our own journey, and I don't see others as competition.

As I move forward, I've decided to make a change. I will no longer accept custom orders. I want to focus on creating what inspires me, exploring my own ideas, and enjoying the process of bringing my creations to life.

I will continue offering my finished creations for sale, each made by my hands with patience and love.

This isn't the end of my journey.
It's a new chapter, one stitch at a time. 🧶

The day started out busy, and productably on a project that wasn't my to do.
But I was asked for help out with one of the details that didn't really require too much work.
It's a new week, have you noticed how quick Mondays come around.

Happy and Bless week 🍂

🍓🌈 A major blast from the past on my crochet hook!
I was looking back at some of my favorite past projects and just had to share these.

Who remembers running downstairs on Saturday mornings to watch Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite?

Bringing these iconic 80s characters to life with yarn was such a nostalgic trip.

Between Strawberry’s classic stripes and Rainbow Brite's bright, colorful layers, they were an absolute joy to stitch.

Out of the two, who was your absolute favorite growing up?

In the past, I used to make crochet kits with everything needed for a beginner.

Later, I realized I can't teach a person how to crochet; I can only help them read the patterns and stitch names.

So, all the hooks, yarn balls, and stitch markers are available to purchase.

Let me know if I can help you in setting a beginners kit of the Hook size and stitch markers, based on the project you want to create.
