There are Santa chairs…
and then there are Santa chairs with history.
Long before holiday installs became a trend, Christmas was a craft—rooted in storytelling, scale, and reverence for tradition. My own love affair with the season was shaped early, working alongside the great holiday storytellers of Marshall Field’s & Co., where Christmas wasn’t simply decorated… it was composed.
That philosophy has never left me.
Every curve, every proportion, every detail of our Santa chair is intentional—designed to honor the grandeur, warmth, and magic the season deserves. Look closely. Woven discreetly throughout the design are hidden motifs inspired by decorative traditions from every continent on the planet—a quiet celebration of global craftsmanship, culture, and the universal language of holiday joy.
As The New York Sun famously reminded us:
“Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.”
Not as a character—but as a spirit. One tucked behind each of our hearts. The part of us that believes in generosity, wonder, and the power of coming together.
This chair is not about novelty.
It’s about inclusion.
It’s about blending traditions, honoring many stories while creating one shared moment.
True hospitality has always been about more than excellent service—that should be the standard to begin with. Hospitality, at its highest level, is about belonging. About ensuring that everyone who enters the room feels seen, welcomed, and reflected in the experience.
It’s about creating moments that feel timeless, elevated, and unmistakably special—where someone from every walk of life can look at it and see themselves staring back.
Nobody does Christmas like TAYLOR & CO.
Because for us, it’s never been décor.
It’s tradition—passed down, refined, and reimagined.
