A little introduction for our new friends 👋

New and vintage home decor, collected under one very small roof!

We believe a home should be a mix of old and new, investment pieces + great deals, and things you’ve collected over time.

We source vintage finds, work with small businesses whenever we can, and look for new pieces you’ll want to keep around for years!!

We’re lucky to have some pretty great people in our corner. Our partners and families help with the heavy lifting, the last-minute projects, and all the things that come with running a small business.

House 15 might be a two-woman operation, but we definitely don’t do it entirely alone.

Laurie: Founder, designer, buyer, and the reason this whole thing exists!

Sloan: Marketing, operations, inventory, and approximately 47 other things

And bring back whatever we can fit, carry, or convince ourselves we need!!

A big part of what we do is sourcing antiques and one-of-a-kind finds in France! We spend our trips digging through flea markets, brocantes, and antique shops, finding pieces we wish we could bring home by the truckload.

Getting everything back to Chicago? That’s a whole other story 🫣

The France trips make for fun photos, but most of our time is spent moving furniture, restyling shelves, photographing inventory, packing orders, updating the website, and making the most of every inch of our less-than-300-square-foot shop.

And usually doing it all before opening the doors again!

We answer your messages, photograph every new find, list products online, wrap your orders, haul furniture, and try to keep the store looking good while we’re at it.

There isn’t a big team behind the scenes or a warehouse full of employees. It’s two people who care a whole lot about what we’re putting out into the world. 🤍

Whether you’re looking for a statement antique, a little piece of art, or something that makes a corner finally feel finished, we want you to find something you love here.

You don’t need to start from scratch or spend a fortune to make your home feel special. We’re just happy to help you find the pieces that make it yours!

Our very unofficial fall decorating tips 🤍

Use the vintage bowls. Put pumpkins everywhere. (We also believe in embracing apples in design. They’re just as “fall” as pumpkins, right?)

Fill every candy dish!!!!!! (This one is the most important.)

Add a little moody art. And obviously, don’t forget the turkeys. 🦃
