Thebusymami Hi! I’m Busy Mami, also known as Mommy, Mami, Wifey, Allie, that girl who always sings and cooks.

My whole life I have been “the cook” the one who always brings the custom food, and experiment on all things food related.

First stop on our road trip to Louisiana: finally trying 7 Brew Coffee ☕️🚗

✨ Sweet & Salty
🥛 Sub 2% instead of breve
🍯 1/2 sweet
☕️ Extra shot of espresso

Still a little sweeter and lighter than I usually like, but it was GOOD. Next time I might go even less sweet, but the extra espresso definitely helped balance it out.

Hubby got an iced Americano with 2% and caramel lining the cup and honestly… that color was exactly what I normally go for. 😂 The coffee flavor was amazing.

We also grabbed two energy drinks to try, so stay tuned for the taste test! 👀⚡️ what should I try next time 7 Brew Coffee ?!

POV: You finally make homemade tortillas… and now the store-bought ones just don’t hit the same. 🤤🌮 Soft, fluffy, and so worth it.

✨ Save this recipe for Taco Tuesday!

👇 FULL RECIPE BELOW 👇

🌮 Busy Mami Flour Tortillas

• 2 cups self rising flour (or AP flour + 1 tsp baking powder)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup oil (or melted butter, lard, or olive oil)
• 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional for extra soft tortillas)
• About 1 cup warm water (I usually use around 3/4 cup)

🥣 Mix the dry ingredients, then add the oil and heavy cream. Slowly add the warm water until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5–8 minutes, rest for 20–30 minutes, divide into 11–13 balls, rest another 10 minutes, roll thin, and cook on a hot skillet until bubbles form. Flip, cook 40–60 seconds, then flip one last time to finish cooking.

Store in a zip-top bag in the fridge for up to a week (if they last that long 😂). To reheat, just warm them on a hot skillet.

💛 Tag me if you make them! What’s your favorite thing to eat with homemade tortillas?
