Slow Made Co. is a one-woman, home operated business founded by Marianne Pearson, inspired by the principals of slow-living lifestyle and desperately wanting to contribute good back to the environment. After discovering that the candles in her home were emitting unwanted chemicals into the air, she started researching alternatives. Not wanting to give up her sacred time, whether reading a book, watching tv, or just having a quiet moment, all of which involved having a candle lit, Slow Made was slowly coming to fruition.

What started as a desire for clean-burning candles for her own home, soon became wanting to share them with others. Slow Made is confidently rooted in our principals (based on Slow Living Movement):
