Co-founders and best friends, Stephanie Trompen and Heather Reitsma, first met while studying fine art in Florence, Italy back in 2004 and have been working in the arts and with children ever since. Today, Stephanie holds a Bachelors in Art Education and has worked as Art Director for Boys and Girls Club and Heather, holding a Bachelors in Art History, now works for Chicago Art Magazine. Joined by friend and public relations extraordinaire, Nicole Cimoch - a former national TV Producer - they are combining, both, their enthusiasm for art and love of working with children by hosting art events for families in Chicago! Whether it’s a birthday party, a homeschool education event, a family gathering or a simple play date, Crafty Kiddos specializes in creating meaningful art experiences for children. Each group art lesson is customized to encourage creative growth and an appreciation of art in every child that participates!
