French Style at the Source

One of my favorite ways to find unique one of a kind pieces is perusing the local brocantes, flea markets, and an occasional estate sale.

Here in the Champagne region we have the famous Reims marché aux puces, scheduled for every first Sunday of the month. Many beautiful treasures to be found.

Beautiful vignettes, peaceful moments, timeless elegance, with an element of unexpectedness. This is what we strive for.

In this project, we framed a bespoke wallpaper mural to create an elegant layer of detail on the headboard wall. By turning the corner and extending the mural, we enveloped the nightstands in an intimate moment.

We opted for an antique petite walnut chest of drawers with marble tops for a touch of elegance. By utilizing a floor lamp we liberated precious real estate on the horizontal surface of the nightstand.

The soft palette of blues, greys, and subdued yellow provides a quiet ambiance for a peaceful rest.

- Fresh flowers in an antique crystal ice bucket add a layer of elegance.
