“Help Us Help You! Now is an important time to be engaged. 🗳️
Join the IIDA Illinois Advocacy team, IIDA Headquarters’ Marci Merola, and our partners at ASID for updates on the renewal of Illinois legislation that allows Registered Interior Designers to stamp and seal drawings. Learn why this moment matters for our industry and discover meaningful ways designers can support advocacy efforts - even through small actions. The strength of our profession relies on participation, and every registered designer helps reinforce the value and impact of interior design in the built environment. We’ve attached a Fact Sheet that outlines the progression of our legislation renewal and we invite you to join us on May 6th to continue the conversation!
The IIDA Illinois Chapter will also walk through the steps to becoming a Registered Interior Designer - a designation that strengthens your professional credibility, expands your earning potential, and reinforces the important role interior designers play in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Registration elevates your individual practice while strengthening the profession as a whole.
Whether you are preparing to apply for registration, have recently passed the NCIDQ, or have been registered for years, this session will provide clarity on the process, insight into current legislative efforts, and an opportunity to ask questions while learning how you can help move the profession forward.
Getting ready to take the NCIDQ? This session is also a great place to begin your path to certification - connect with peers who may become study partners, gain insight into the exam process, and learn what lies ahead on the road to registration.
This event will also offer IDCEC CEU credit.
