There’s a lot of trust involved in what we do.

When a client invites us into their home, they are asking us to help shape how they live. It's a huge responsibility that requires elements of intuition, psychology, and a lot of listening.

This testimonial means so much to our team, especially the line about creating a home that feels “perfectly us.” At the end of the day, that’s always the goal in the way it looks, feels, and functions.

Thank you to our clients for trusting us with your homes. We wouldn’t be here without you!

We’re bringing warmth and style to every corner of an expansive vintage condo in the South Loop, with views of Lake Michigan from nearly every room.

A cozy family room, an elevated living room, a multi-use dining space, a wallpapered entry, and more to come. The design scheme is almost as good as the view!

Timeless doesn’t have to mean neutral and safe. Sometimes it’s the thoughtful application of warm wood, patina’d brass, tumbled tile, and stone details — layered in a way that feels balanced and dynamic at the same time.

A sweet bathroom at our Bucktown Cottage that we kept playful with a colorful floor, green tub, and wall pattern we designed. Whimsical without being “baby” is the perfect sweet spot for us when designing a kids space that grows with them.

A dreamy mix of materials are right at home in this kitchen renovation. The custom walnut wood cabinets nestle in with the soft Milano quartzite and imperfect zellige. The custom hood is the showstopper with an elegant simplicity and perfectly aged brass patina. We used a contrasting stone on the island, leathered Breccia Imperiale. Which element is your favorite!?

We're excited to share photos from our recent shoot! After a renovation that included a small rear extension, we made room for a larger kitchen, mudroom, and a dining space in a traditional Chicago Worker's Cottage. I love how the materials came together here—the warm wood, patina’d brass, stone countertops, and a very special stone on the island. It's warm and familiar and each element is special on its own, but tells a very compelling story all together.

We'll be sharing more from this home soon!

The Pioneer Woman Magazine included us in their spring issue with a piece on stained glass, and we were so excited to see this sunny corner from our Humboldt project in the mix. Working with existing stained glass in a historic home is an opportunity and can also be a challenge, especially when existing heavy woodwork is in the mix. Our goal is always to preserve, highlight, and refresh a space so it's historic features have new room to breathe.

I love it in traditional settings, and even more when it shows up somewhere you wouldn’t expect!

A good before, during, and after! This builder grade condo kitchen was in need of a refresh in quality and personality. We love and appreciate our clients willing to take these risks in their space with us!

There are few better feelings than when the samples you’ve been staring at come together in their final form. This pink arched bathroom was no exception. Dreamy!
