Today is Maloos Design’s birthday.
Five years ago, what started as a simple hobby became a real business — and something meaningful to me slowly found a place in other people’s homes and lives.
As an immigrant from the other side of this blue planet, I’ve always believed that giving is how we belong. We share what we have — from our fridge, our pockets, and sometimes the most precious thing of all: our heart.
Choosing to build my life in the US also means sharing the beautiful parts of my heritage — whether it’s a small bag of saffron to welcome a neighbor, or the artistic vision behind every board and tray I create.
Nothing makes me happier than knowing my work becomes part of your family gatherings, your game nights, your quality time — pieces that spark conversations, connection, honesty, and even a few happy tears.
I’m grateful for who I am, where I come from, and where I stand today.
I cherish this life deeply and I am thankful for the opportunity.
