Design is not about more.

A restrained palette allows natural materials to take focus. Quiet architectural details create a backdrop for art and furnishings. Carefully considered proportions give each element room to breathe.

Restraint is not about simplicity, it is the refinement of design and materials to express the essence of a space .

When the adjoining apartment in a historic pre-war co-op became available, our clients saw the opportunity to create something truly unique: a full-floor residence designed around the way their family lives.

With sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Gold Coast as the backdrop, this contemporary home balances open, airy spaces with refined details inspired by the building’s Beaux Arts architecture. A restrained material palette and thoughtful design choices create the perfect setting for everyday living and an extensive art collection.

Timeless homes are defined by thoughtful design, not fleeting trends.

Intentional architecture, authentic materials, and carefully considered furnishings come together to create interiors that feel warm, refined, and enduring.

Thoughtful design extends beyond a home’s interior.

From urban terraces to expansive residential landscapes, outdoor spaces are considered as an extension of the home—creating a natural connection between architecture, interiors, and the surrounding environment.

Expansive windows and doors frame views and invite the outdoors in, while thoughtfully designed terraces, gardens, and gathering spaces extend daily life beyond the home’s walls. The result is a seamless transition between inside and out, designed to be enjoyed throughout the seasons.

Every custom kitchen begins with the people who use it.

Function, storage, natural light, and carefully selected materials come together to create a space that is as beautiful as it is livable. Thoughtful planning ensures every detail serves a purpose, resulting in a kitchen that feels timeless, intuitive, and uniquely personal.
