Where Aquager began 🌱
Aquager was sprouted at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where the idea took shape around one simple belief:
access to fresh, healthy, organic food is everyone’s right, not a privilege.
The concept was developed through two startup accelerators at the Kaplan Institute and Future Founders Bootcamp (Phases 1 & 2), focusing on research, testing, and real-world usability from day one.
Today, Aquager is based at mHUB Chicago, where its systems continue to be refined, tested, and engineered for reliability, simplicity, and everyday use.
Every decision—design, materials, and growing method—is guided by one goal:
making food production at home simple, predictable, and accessible, even with no gardening background.
